How to splice belts

Splicing belts is important to achieve safe and stable running of the belt. We offer the best method of splicing belts that uses our unique technique and knowhow.

Evenness On-site working Features
Over-wrap splicing 90° Overlap splicing 95 This is the most standard method of splicing to obtain a sufficiently strong attached part. This method is suitable for the lines that bear high tension.
45° Overlap splicing 95 The method improves the relation between the pulleys at 90° splicing by setting an angle to the pulley part to be attached.
Bat splicing 90° utt splicing as much as the strength of the lining material It is a method with more emphasis on the surface flatness, however, has a drawback of butt part being vulnerable to bending.
45° utt splicing as much as the strength of the lining material In this method, an angle of 90° is set to the spliced part to reduce stress concentration.
V-shaped notches utt splicing as much as the strength of the surface material + lining material This method increases bend tolerance by changing the straight line cut to V shape, and strengthening the belt further by over-taping.

Bat Skiver joint splicing as much as the strength of the lining material This method provides a good balance between surface evenness and bend tolerance.
Layered splicing Lamination splicing 87 This method provides the most even surface and is suitable in conditions where unevenness is unwanted.
Wrapless joint splicing Wrap less joint splicing as much as the strength of the surface material + lining material Though this method gives a combination of even surface and bend tolerance, it is not the best suitable method for shop floors.
Alligator splicing Alligator splicing as much as the strength of the part of splicing Though this method gives a combination of even surface and bend tolerance, it is not the best suitable method for shop floors.

Loop lacing (mesh type) splicing 40 This method is used for mesh belts to give desirable results under unfavorable shop floor conditions.
